Meet Tyler, the owner of TJC.
Tyler Clarke finished his carpentry apprenticeship in 2020, then spent a few years underground mining before heading home to North-West Tasmania. Backing himself – and taking his partner's advice – he started TJC Building, and calls it the best decision he's ever made.
Most jobs start as a blank canvas. Backyard renovations, sheds and new builds are the ones Tyler enjoys most – turning an empty space into someone's dream. That pride in the finish is how TJC has earned its reputation with past, current and future clients.
The plan from here is simple: build a crew of four or five, take on bigger jobs, and – once licensed, which isn't far off – start building homes right across the North-West.
